KILLADOOLEY CHILDCARE GROUP LTD are now recruiting for the following position Room Leader for Preschool and Afterschool
Position to commence in September 2017
Qualification
- Minimum level 7 in Early Childhood Care & Education.
Experience
- A minimum of 3 years in a Childcare/ECCE setting
- Knowledge of play based curriculum and practical experience of Aistear and Siolta Frameworks
- Excellent communication and IT skills
Roles and Responsibilities.
- Ensuring the individual needs of children are identified and met
- Deliver a quality curriculum based on the child’s emergent interests and be able to plan and document accordingly
- Adhering to childcare regulations ,policies and procedures and operational practices at all times
- Interact with parents and other staff members to create a positive, happy environment for children
- Being accountable for the general care and well-being of the children in your room throughout the session
- Work as part of a team and ensure excellent communications with all staff
- Ensuring positive working relationships are developed and maintained with children, staff and parents.
- Preparing and creating materials to support the curriculum throughout the school year.
- Meeting with parents to give feedback on their child’s development annually
Hours & Salary
- Term Time Position ( Sept – June )
- Full Time ( Monday-Friday)
- Salary (DOE)
