The post is full time 40 hours per week. The Community Childcare Manager will report to the Manager of Portlaoise Family Resource centre.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery of high-quality care and learning opportunities for children, based on the needs and interests of those children. They will be tasked with ensuring Policies and Procedures are followed by all staff; giving staff support and help with their development; support for daily operations; and oversight of curriculum, and program planning and documentation. The financial operations and all POBAL/PIP interactions will be managed with the support of the FRC administration staff.
The successful candidate will have experience in a community setting and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy early childhood education environment with a high level of professionalism.
