Early Childhood Ireland is delighted to host a free online event introducing the tools developed from a KA2 European funded project called VALCHILD. The VALCHILD project aims to increase the quality, supply and accessibility of vocational education and training for childminders by providing guidance and resources for personalised learning pathways. One of the main aims of the project is to propose a toolkit and guidelines for the Validation of non-formal and informal learning (VNIL) for both childminding professionals and for validation experts.

We are now at the stage of presenting these tools for feedback and would love childminders to be involved.

We are hosting an online Zoom meeting on Tuesday, 26 January from 7pm – 8.30pm at which participants will be introduced to the project and the tools developed. We hope that through small group discussions, participants will provide some feedback on the practicalities of the tools and their accessibility.
