is recruiting for the post of

Full Time Quality Support Worker

Applications are being sought from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the role of Quality Support Worker to support the Childcare Sector in Laois.

Essential Requirements

• At least five years relevant experience working in a leadership role in the childcare sector/similar development/support role in a leadership capacity.
• Relevant experience of supporting Early Years/ School age Services and Childminders.
• Experience of organising events and delivering training/workshops & networking events.
• An in-depth knowledge of national childcare policy, regulations and frameworks.
• An in-depth knowledge of the National Action Plan for Childminders
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.

 Essential Qualification

• A relevant third level qualification to at least Level 8 in Early Year’s Care & Education, Leadership or Equivalent.

Requirements of the post

• Garda Vetting will apply.
• Have a clean driving license and access to a car.

Salary Scale: Local Authority Grade 5 (€51,722 to €62,058) depending on level of experience.
